Eden Village of Arizona - coming spring of 2026!

Project type

Urban Development

Location

Mesa, Arizona

Coming in the Spring of 2016, Eden Village will be tucked into an infill lot near downtown Mesa, Arizona. Eden Village is more than just a housing development—it’s a community designed to restore dignity and connection for those who have experienced chronic homelessness and disability. Created in partnership with John 13:34 Ministries, this thoughtfully planned neighborhood offers not only permanent shelter, but a place to belong.

The village includes ten micro duplexes and one standalone micro home, each complete with a kitchen, living area, bathroom, bedroom, and a welcoming front porch—perfect for relaxing or catching up with a neighbor. At the heart of the community sits a shared center offering space for dining, gathering, and public laundry facilities, reinforcing a sense of inclusion and support.

Eden Village’s outdoor spaces are just as intentional: a 9,000-square-foot community garden invites both residents and neighbors to grow food and community side by side. Private amenities like a dog run, barbecue areas, and a shaded dining patio offer moments of peace and connection.

Designed with sustainability in mind, the homes are targeting National Green Building Standard Gold certification. Solar panels will provide about half the community’s energy needs, and drought-tolerant xeriscaping creates a beautiful, low-maintenance environment that respects the desert climate.

Eden Village is more than housing—it’s a model for how design, compassion, and community partnership can come together to change lives.
